The event will take place on Zoom and is open to anyone interested.

Abstract: There are three aspects of business transactions such that companies exchange (1) information, (2) capital, and (3) goods or services in a business transaction. Although supply chain management is at the center of the transactions, a complete framework of supply chain management is only possible by incorporating the effects of information and capital flows on the supply chains. The uncertainty modeling approach aims to develop the correct model by incorporating the uncertain elements of demand without rushing to aggregate demand values and fitting a statistical model for it. We have applied this approach to some companies in different industries and observed a substantial improvement in profits. Results are reported in Harvard Business Review in 2022.u00a0
